Crystal Palace Park is a Victorian pleasure ground, used for cultural and sporting events. It is located in the south-east London suburb of Crystal Palace, which was in turn named after The Crystal Palace which had been moved from Hyde Park, London after the 1851 Great Exhibition and rebuilt with some modifications and enlargements to form the centrepiece of the pleasure ground, before being destroyed by fire in 1936.

Tonight's rain and clouds precluded my planned meteor shot, so I setup indoors tonight.
I finally broke down and bought a bottle of Crystal Head Vodka, cause I just love the bottle so much.
I'm looking forward to including this prop in a lot of my future shots.
Only Dan Aykroyd and a bunch of Newfies could come up with this bottle. Bless their hearts.

I look forward to trying it. For the moment, I shot it with nectar intact.

This is the orig version of the crystal star ,In the 2000's they release an up-dated version of the crystal star which was more detailed and more colorful.
My wife has had this crystal for years now and from far it looks great. However, when you look close, you can see the years have had their way with the stone.

Część mojej kolekcji, powiedzmy, że około połowa. Sporo minerałów mam rozmieszczone luźno po mieszkaniu, część jest na działce.
Na górze regału- głównie turmaliny. Oprócz tego kolorowe kalcyty, kamienie krzyżowe, sygnet z ametystem, erytryn.
Na dole część moich obelisków, 3500 karatowy szmaragd od św. Mikołaja :D i masa innych minerałów. Jeszcze niżej, czego nie widać już na zdjęciu sporo mniejszych okazów w tekturowych pudełeczkach.
Na zdjęciu widać też część moich książek (nie wszystkie się zmieściły na fotce, większość trzymam na działce gdzie najlepiej mi się czyta :D). Widać też zestaw płyt z moich ukochanym serialem... Allo Allo :)

A part of my crystal collection, about 50%. In the top you can see my tourmalines. In the middle- many interesting crystals- quarzs, pink quarz, citrines, ruby, aquamarines, big emerald (in the right corner) and more.
