What do you see in the crystal ball? Is the future dark and stormy or filled with light? It all depends what you choose to see.

Crystal Springs - Mpumalanga, South Africa

Cairns, Queensland, Australia

We arrived at Crystal Mill. The beauty of this old structure was amazing. It is known as one of the most photographed historic sites in Colorado. I must admit, I took my fair share of photos too!

Crystal was incorporated in 1881. At its peak it had 400 residents, two newspapers, a pool hall, a men’s club, barber shop and two hotels. By 1915 only eight people lived in Crystal. Today there is a general store, public outhouse and several cabins available for short term rent. The few residents live in Crystal during the summer months only. We didn’t walk to the townsite of Crystal. It was starting to drizzle and we had a long hike and ride back.

I am flat broke, but I was gifted a nikon D800E camera in hopes I could do something for jon in thailand to help him with the dogs. I've decided to try and sell it on eBay, and send the profits to him, but I thought I might offer it here first. anyone interested, please flickr mail me for details. I will ship free within the U.S.

These hot colors are bubbling and boiling and ready to erupt! Still playing around with my handblown crystal!!

I was reading yesterday about crystal therapy, where the energetic power of crystals are used to bring balance to an individual's life and mind. Then I went to sleep and dreamt of traveling to a land that was oozing a deep crystal silence. Go figure.

Palácio de Cristal - Crystal Palace

Petrópolis city, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The metal and glass components of the Palace were manufactured in 1879 in Saint-Saveur-les-Arras, France; that kind of building was opular in Europe after the Industrial Revolution.

In 1888, four years after opening, Princess Isabel held a spectacular party here; at that historical event, she granted freedom to several slaes, and that was a prelude to her signing, a few months later, the law which abolished slavery in Brazil.

I took this shot a couple of days ago for MM's weekly challenge. I wasn't sure if it's acceptable for the theme. But now I want to try, as I'm not quite satisfied with my first contribution.

Having voted for 1 photo per week, I can't help adding my second image, haha :)

I'm also adding this image to Flickr Friday group.

So, this is my 'double contribution' :) Hope, you like it!

We took a quick hike up the Tuckerman Ravine trail to see this lovely waterfall. The fall colors were looking nice already.
