Part of the 1000 springs region of Southwest Idaho. Crystal springs is very photogenic. I used a 3-stop ND filter to get a blurred effect in full sunlight.
The Crystal Palace Dinosaurs, also known as Dinosaur Court, are a series of sculptures of extinct animals (including dinosaurs) and mammals in Crystal Palace Park, now in the London borough of Bromley. Commissioned in 1852 to accompany the Crystal Palace after its move from the Great Exhibition in Hyde Park and unveiled in 1854, they were the first dinosaur sculptures in the world, pre-dating the publication of Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species by six years. While to varying degrees inaccurate by modern standards, the models were designed and sculpted by Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins under the scientific direction of Sir Richard Owen, representing the latest scientific knowledge at the time. The models were classed as Grade II listed buildings from 1973, extensively restored in 2002, and upgraded to Grade I listed in 2007.
The models represent fifteen genera of extinct animals, not all dinosaurs. They are from a wide range of geological ages, and include true dinosaurs, ichthyosaurs, and plesiosaurs mainly from the Mesozoic era, and some mammals from the more recent Cenozoic era.
My sister and I visited another antique shop, because well I really am that gay. Anyway, the shop was divided into rooms; one room was the kitchen, one a bedroom, the other a living room. So neat.

So I went to Crystal's neighborhood to go swimming and take pictures toghether before I went off to basic training and this one of my favorite shots. "Blank face man" was what she called me :P yes I don't have a lot of expressions lol.
Tartaric acid, dissolved in water with pH-indicating crystal violet, forms these beautiful images as crystals grow out of a supersaturated aqueous solution generated by evaporation of water. Originally yellow in the low-pH aqueous environment, the crystal violet changes colors as it becomes embedded in the crystals. The growth process can be watched live under the microscope and demonstrates complex phenomena of crystal formation such as nucleation, diffusion-limited growth, and formation of grain boundaries.

On 6C02 from Eastleigh, 70812 approaches its destination at Crystal Palace and awaits clearance to enter the weekend possession.
I believe the Crystal Mill is the most photographed place in Colorado. I just took a trip there and had a wonderful day. This is a take on the Mill I kind of like. There will be more later.
A crystal pear, which is a tiny gourmet pear measuring 3.5 inches in length. It is very juicy and tastes more halfway between a nashi and a normal pear. Delicious!
