The 86th Airlift Wing Public Affairs morale patch was created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Using a photographer, broadcaster, tools of the trade and aircraft, the design highlights the public affairs documentation mission. Those same elements are used to create a skull, symbolizing the grim reaper and the old adage that photographs steal the subject as soul. It was requested by the 86th Airlift Wing public affairs officer, created on June 9, 2015 and featured on unit shirts and patches. (U.S. Air Force artwork by Senior Airman Damon Kasberg/Released)
