Small Blossoms...
In early May our very small cherry tree was blooming with tiny delicate blooms of white. They are so cute and pretty. They make me smile every time i see them, unfortunately they don’t last very long... usually less than a week and sometimes a day or so if we get strong winds or heavy rain.
That’s why i try to get pictures as soon as they are in full bloom.
Thank you for visiting for marking my photo as a favourite and for the kind comments,

Budding Hibiscus...
Our Hibiscus is budding and soon those big beautiful flowers will appear. they bloom with such a magnificent show of colour, which lasts only but a few days. some years we get two or three blooms a year and sadly some years only one.
I am eager for the blooms to open and to get a few shots of them in all their glory... It certainly is worth the anticipation and the care it takes to keep them alive for the rest of the year.

This is my first image posted using my new Z8. While somewhat smaller than the Z9, the Z8 retains the majority of the functionality of its "big brother." This is also the first image I have posted from my new backyard shooting gallery. I'm still able to get creamy backgrounds while getting closer to my subjects without spooking them. Fun!

My sincere thanks to all who spend the time to view, like or comment on my photos. It is much appreciated!

Santiago Island has the biggest and longest lava flow, which is located in Sullivan Bay. Geologically speaking, this island is one of the most beautiful and unbelievable formations. The vast basaltic landscape performs smooth and unbroken surfaces with undulations and nods formed by the fluid lava that created the sculpture. It is located on the central west of the archipelago and is formed by two overlapping volcanoes. It is the 4th biggest of the Galapagos archipelago.
