It's funny to me because, when I'm in London... I prefer Pepsi Max... it's way better then the pepsi max here... plus ours has ginseng in it. Weird. So because I've gone off pepsi max in the US... I've gone back to coke zero... my fav...but only in the us ;)

P.s.... I find that on nights when I have uni, I'm not super creative. I'm usually exhausted... but then stay up on flickr, or ps... when I should be reading about psychology! oops.

The monastery is located at the foot of Capatânii Mountain, on the outskirts of the village of Românii de Sus, about 50 km west of Râmnicul Vâlcea, in Vâlcea county.
The monastery complex at Hurezi covers an area of three hectares, including the monastery itself, the Bolnița Church, and two hermitages, that of the Holy Apostles Andrew and Saint Stephen.
The church was founded between 1693 and 1697 by Constantin Brâncoveanu and is 32 metres long and 14 metres high, built in the shape of a cross.
It is considered the most reprezentative architectural complex for the world-renowned „Brancoveanu” style.
The Monastery of Horezu was included in the UNESCO heritage list in 1993 mainly as a recognition of its rich culture, architecture, the abundence of sculptural detail and its painted decorative works.
Only 50 km away from Ramnicu Valcea, the monastery is surrounded by woods, located in a charming place filled with solitude, whose silence is only disturbed by the sound of „huhurezi” night birds - which probably led to the name of the surroundings and the name of the church.
According to legend, the craftsmen hired to build the church were afraid of turkish invadors and were forced to work only during the night, at a time at which the „huhurezi” birds were singing.
The monastery comprises two establishments.
The first is surrounded by a brick wall and the second one is surrounded by three buildings and a wall.
The entrance to the ansamble is made through a big wooden gate and in the middle stands the big church, having a length of 32 m and a height of 14 m.
The bell tower has 4 bells, weighting between 300 and 1000 kg and three of them have the name of the ruler, Constantin Brancoveanu, craved on them.
This is also the place where the Constantin Brancoveanu library was founded, which to date comprises 4000 books.
The library catalogue drawn up in 1971 showed that, by that time, the library had 382 typed books and 46 written manuscripts, out of which only 115 were in Romanian language.
Among the books in this library you can find Homer’s Odyseea (printed in Basel in 1541), Euripide’s Tragedies (printed in Basel in 1551) and Novellae included by Iustinian the Great in his Great Codex (printed in Paris in 1568).
The whole complex is remarkable for its unified concept.
It is structured on the main east-west axis, on which four places of worship are gradually aligned, built in different stages and by different builders.
The monastic complex consists of:
The monastery’s own church, built by the great ruler and scholar Constantin Brâncoveanu, located in the centre of the enclosure and dedicated to the Holy Emperors Constantine and his mother Elena;
The Church of the Sickbay, Bolnita, founded by Mrs Maria, the wife of the prince, in 1696;
The “Holy Apostles” Hermitage, founded by the abbot of the monastery, John the Archimandrite, in 1698;
The Saint Stephen’s Hermitage, named after the prince’s eldest son, founded by him in 1703.
