Working off suggestions from a previous post. Logo design for our youth group. Looking for feedback/suggestions. The "e" stands for eternity, the asterisk is something I was playing with, looking for it to be able to stand alone at times.....
Crave You(Adventure Club Remix) - Flight Facilities
"I walked into the room dripping in gold..."
So, I got a suggestion for my Self Portraits challenge. The suggestion was self exploration, and some of the shots you will see in upcoming weeks will tackle some of my fears. Maybe my regrets? Im not too sure yet. But it will be pretty emotional for me. You'll also notice that I got a hair cut. Don't fret though. My hair shall grow back fairly quick. :]

"CRAVE" de Sarah Kane, Ilustración: John Acevedo
Estaba escuchando "An echo a Stain" de Björk y recordé la versión de "Crave" que montaron Actores de la Universidad de Antioquia bajo la dirección de José Fernando Velásquez (2011)... Me conmoví mucho.
Crab crusted filet mignon, buttermilk mashed potatoes, broccolini, lobster cream.
The flavors came in waves.
I crave a good book all the time....just to hold it and get totally engrossed is my vice. Kim Klassen texture :)
The Crave is a piano piece composed by famous American jazz-musician Jelly Roll Morton. I tried to use images of the streets of American cities of 1910-s and1920-s - the time when this jazz composition was popular.
The light in the windows show the flow of the melody. The monochromic palette represents the only instrument used - the piano.
The composition is presented as a concertina book. The general look is inspired by the old black and white photographs that became yellowish and brownish with time.
Here in Beaufort we have the most unique and fun businesses. This cupcake shop opened a little less than a year ago and have made their mark on our little town. The shop owners, husband and wife team are so sweet (as are their cupcakes!) and offer 50 different varieties!! I took my mom a chocolate peanut butter cupcake (pictured) and she loved it!! If you are in or around Beaufort, make sure you stop in at 1103 Boundary Street and pick one (or a dozen) up!! (Had to change out the collage pic I had up previously - and post just this cupcake pic - the bright colors were making me crazy!)
