I have Cosmos in all colors and heights in this flower bed. I sprinkled one packet of mixed seeds on the bed in late spring and have been rewarded with a sea of color.
This is really my Iced Tea! After a long, hot day, I wanted to have an iced tea. As there was no ice cubes in the fridge, I kept my tea in the freezer and completely forgot about it till later! LOL....
Have a great week ahead, friends!

Yet another different Cosmos from that package of mixed seeds I planted this spring.
Still far too hot to spend much time outside. We hope for a break from the heat this weekend.

I love the view from underneath these white cosmos on a sunny day. An insect's view or maybe a Chickpea :)

Description: Please don’t faint... Panorama Paul has posted a flower photograph that is not a Vertorama!?
Well, I’m still very determined to stick to my New Year’s resolution to shoot and post at least one very different photograph per month... so this is my contribution for April. :)
The Fairview wine estate seemed like a good place to stop for some fresh bread, cheese and (of course) wine... but when we arrived at the estate and I noticed this field of cosmos flowers, all I could think of was grabbing my camera, walking deep into the field, and lying down to shoot some flowers! The cheese and wine would have to wait!!
The only problem was the dozens of sprinklers that were watering these plants. I would have to time it carefully I thought... wait till the circular sprayer has passed, and then rush in and grab a few shots before it came around again. Just as I was standing there contemplating the situation and timing the spray cycle, a very kind fellow pulled up in a bakkie and asked if he could turn the water off for me... yes please, thank you very much!
After he’d turned off the sprinklers... I waded in and got my shots!! So there you have it then... a flower-pic from Paul! :)
