I Iike those 8 showy ray flowers. The little disc flowers, mostly yellow, are important too, of course.

Cosmos, a member of the sunflower family, very easy to grow and provides much pleasure for humans and great feeding for masses of insects especially bees!

White petals have such a delicate texture. This cosmos just floats in the air atop its stem. Found in the gardens edging the promenade along the shore of the Bodensee in Friedrichshafen. Press "L" for the best view.
