I was packing up my gear after taking a few twilight photos on Barmouth beach, when this couple ran down to the water's edge, to admire the view. When I chatted with the guy a few minutes later, he told me that they'd spotted dolphins playing in sea nearby, which I missed unfortunately.

It is right that we should fear the actions of the beasts that emerge from our seas and earth and skies. We curate our publication for the edification of the public, so that fear might be practically applied. But if we fear their action, we can take refuge in their rest. If we should fear rest; if mere pause, or change, or halt could end us; and if everything we know rested on the mercy- no, that presumes to much- rested on the whims of an unknowable mind; then, there is no practical action to be taken. There is only terror, or ignorance.

We hiked around 9 miles up and down, up and down over and around steep slick rock slopes to get to this huge wind carved bowl in a sandstone ridge. The woman on the left was taking selfies in many different poses when we arrived. After she finally sat down, I began taking photos of the scene. She leapt up and ran out to the edge of the bowl and began posing! She assumed I wanted her in my images! She was attractive, but I didn't hike all the way out to this amazing formation for her, so I put my camera away and began eating lunch. Finally, she left followed by her entourage.
The bowl is about 200 feet across and the rock in the middle is about 35 feet tall. The bowl is filled with orange sand.
