We traveled about 12 miles out on Spencer Flat Road and then hiked over 8 miles round trip on sand and slick rock to go see this: the Cosmic Ashtray. It's a huge sandstone bowl filled with sand with a large plug of rock in the middle. The bowl is 200 feet wide and 60 feet deep. The dome in the middle is 35 feet tall.
Features: NoRevenge The Kawaii Hat available on Mainstore.
Happy Shopping! ♥

Atmosphere Compression. This picture was taken in the morning when the sun was already coming out of the horizon. These are not polar regions. 60th latitude !!!
A big yawn was not enough to shake off the sleepy feeling that engulfed her. The whole day was before her and she didn't know how to start tackling it. It was the usual morning routine, rushing through the house, showering, changing, combing messy hairs and then bouncing out the door in order to rush through the on going traffic and catch the bus.
What she enjoyed about the bus ride was sipping her coffee from the thermos she prepared and messaging her friend to see if he was still snoring or probably already awake but still in bed. She would always send a random meme as a conversation starter, unless something odd happened in her morning. It was rarely a hello between them, their conversation always picked up from wherever it ended.
The more she sipped her coffee and chatted with him, the more her entire surroundings shifted. The bus turned into a rooftop, her chair into something magical, in this case, why not a teapot? How comfortable would it be to roll into a tea pot and curl like a cat to snooze?
Her coffee turned into the most amazing cold glittering starry brew ever and as she looked up, there he was, floating on his chair that was levitating innocently by a single blue balloon. Nothing surprising, she grinned, reached out for a little cheers because any drink taste better with a friendly touch.
P.S. Honestly, the Cosmic coffee by Tarte really reminded me of Unir because he is just all stars. I also shared coffee with my favorite people because I thought, why not? ;)
I used a few Knick Knacks here, the leaned in gate, the pot with berries sticking out, the shiny plate seen, the ladder on the side and the magic dust cloud!
Also big thank you to Lya and Adam for the lovely little tea pot couch that is my favorite chill out spot now!
Unir took his version so look out for it in his amazing stream, he is ultra talented!

It is Milkyway season again and here is an image I recently captured from the back garden using my Skywatcher Star Adventurer 2i tracker with my Nikon D750 with a Tamron 24-70mm lens attached. It was created with a total of 10 subs at 90 secs and no calibration frames. You can clearly point out some nebula and dust clouds which I have marked up for reference.
Thank you for looking.

A mesmerizing double exposure capturing the delicate details of a cosmos flower interwoven with vibrant, abstract bokeh colors. This fusion creates a dreamlike vision, where the flower's elegance dances with a cosmic burst of light and hue, evoking a sense of wonder and serenity.
Same location as in my previous post but with visualized trails of the moving stars instead of a static seeming sky. And again, there is a meteor in the frame 😊 apart from airplanes and satellites.
Long exposure of 60x 30s, captured with the amazing Olympus LiveComposite feature.
We hiked around 9 miles up and down, up and down over and around steep slick rock slopes to get to this huge wind carved bowl in a sandstone ridge. The woman on the left was taking selfies in many different poses when we arrived. After she finally sat down, I began taking photos of the scene. She leapt up and ran out to the edge of the bowl and began posing! She assumed I wanted her in my images! She was attractive, but I didn't hike all the way out to this amazing formation for her, so I put my camera away and began eating lunch. Finally, she left followed by her entourage.
The bowl is about 200 feet across and the rock in the middle is about 35 feet tall. The bowl is filled with orange sand.
