Wikipedia

Symmetrical brain coral (D. strigosa)

CSX L78909 skirts across the Coral Way / SW 24th Street crossing in Miami. This entire area is photogenic due to the odd layout of the railroad crossing, in the middle of an intersection, and the fact that the train splits residential SW 72nd Avenue for a quarter of a mile north of here. The industrial area behind the train used to be laced with customers in the SAL era, and this crossing was at one time double track with a spur leading into what is now the home design building in the BG. Leading this is nearly fresh SD70AC rebuild CSXT 4725, and this train has 31 x 24 with a healthy diet of general merchandise empties from Krome Quarry, L&W Supply, Orr Water Treatment Plant, and Seal-Tite on the bottom.

Spending the evening at Zabriskie Point with the 100-400 searching for small detailed landscapes is a lot of fun. This was my favorite composition I found this evening.

This image reminds of ocean waves crashing against each other. I love the pastel colors and contrast between pink and blues.

While going for a walk i found a coral mushroom. The light is natural sunlight.

Unfortunately the background was very restless, so I decided to use a black jacket as a background. It's a stack of 8 photos.

I love the texture

Some coral can be seen snorkeling close to shore in shallow water. Info: "The water is always calm and shallow near the reef. If you swim out, you might run into some rough surf. Therefore, stay near the reef. This is a beautiful spot for both snorkelers and non-snorkelers alike." > www.snorkelingonline.com/pages/best-snorkeling-molokai-ha...

Ramariopsis kunzei is an edible species of coral fungi in the family Clavariaceae, and the type species of the genus Ramariopsis.
