I have sad news for people in their 30s, 40s, maybe even 50s. We think those years are filled by trying to cope with life. But, it gets worse. As you age like this barn, things start to fall apart and your coping becomes one of patchwork and making do with what is left. It doesn't get better. As my dad used to say, "it's a good morning if nothing new hurts".
"De Cope" is a combination of a parking garage and an office building in the new office district Papendorp. It was designed by JHK Architecten and built between 2006 and 2008.
This is Julian Cope, former frontman with legendary scouse band The Teardrop Explodes (back in the day). Taken when he appeared at the Canteen Media & Arts Centre on Michaelson Road in Barrow a few months ago.
