This year I hope to be committed to my photography. This includes learning how to use my camera in manual mode and being confident enough in my abilities so I don't fall back into the auto zone!

Many women pursue tirelessly the dream of feeling confident. We feel fascinated by the brightness and strength that radiates from the beauty icons, with their hidden promise of power and liberty.
I have represented the explosion of beauty and sensuality with bright colours, such as carmine red, in contrast with the black colour of hard tissues such as leather, neoprene or latex.
Stock photo of a well dressed confident businessman looking directly at the camera, isolated on white.
My picture is about beauty but in a stripped and absolute peaceful direction. It shows how someone's beauty can still shine through without crazy backgrounds or in a metaphorical way, without the glitz and the glamour. You can see the confidence radiate from the model without anything else being in the picture but her distinct and still features.
I used simplicity, which introduced a contrast between the black white wall and the model by having her look darker and having more focus on her. Selective focus was also used to bring attention to the model and her striking features to show simple details like her braids or earrings which added a mood to the picture.
By using an aperture of 5.3 it allowed more focus on the model to create a still and simple photograph. An Iso of 800 was also used to still add brightness to the picture but still keep a balance between shayla and the background. The picture is in black and white since the picture would've been too 'noisy' and take away from the mood or idea of the photo and adds a clear and clean cut to the picture.
The devil became more confident with being on the lawn. It worked its way through most of the remaining food, eventually taking some onto the veranda to finish it off.
When it had eaten the food outside my cabin, it headed to next door's lawn. It went back and forward a number of times, coming through my garden on its way.

We found several larvae feeding on St. John's Wort which we're fairly confident are those of Chrysolina varians. This one was about 2mm and was feeding on a flower..
