His name is Vængur ("Wing"). He is 1 year old - born June 2008 - in fact my very first photo on this flickr-page was of him 4 weeks old. He's not just great looking - he is very confident, free spirited, calm and clever ... and his movements are very promising.

He is the son of Thristur from Feti (1st price stallion, son of the famous Orri from Thufu) and the sweet mare Snilld from Vorsabaer 1, Iceland.

You can almost see Jaybee thinking "Yeah, this'll definitely work". The object he's holding is a disposable camera with a magnifying lens glued on a barrel made out of a toilet paper carton, his entry for one of the Hacktivity sessions.

I should have photographed the look on his face when I asked him if he had remembered to paint the inside of the barrel black.

The HMS Confident, the pride of the English navy in the late 17th century.

With its three decks supporting 40 cannons it was the master of the seas.

I originally used this ship for the Jolly Roger contest, but here are all the photos in better quality.

Here Bailey is just struttin' her stuff. More attitude.

Actually she is wondering why I am shooting with the sun in her eyes!

Altrincham Kersal opened their season as they ended the last with a confident win over Carlisle. It was the visitors who made the early pressing and scuffed an early penalty chance; and they were made to rue the missed chance as Kersal pressed on the Carlisle defence. Their pressure paid off as as Harry Luscombe scored two penalties to give Kersal a 6-0 lead. Carlisle got back into the game immediately through the boot of Barry Earl. Kersal’s best scoring chance came late into the half as Dave Coleman kicked a through ball but he failed to make the first touch.

Half-Time Score: Altrincham Kersal 6-3 Carlisle

Kersal started the second half strongly and they scored the only try of the game as James Coulson found space out wide and run through to score, the try converted by Luscombe. Carlisle scored a penalty to give them a fighting chance. The second half was end to end however it was marred by an injury to a Carlisle player which delayed the game 30 minutes. The game was moved to an adjacent pitch and an Ambulance was called. When play resumed Luscombe scored another penalty to open Kersal’s league account with a win.

Full-Time Score: Altrincham Kersal 17-6

This is my third cover using my own handwriting, and to me, I think they are my best covers. At first with this cover, I used the cutout that Alex had done, and tried textures behind it, but I just couldn't get it to work, so then I used this other picture, and although I loved the colours of it, I think it was a bit too plain. I then used selective colouring and kept the brightest things in colour, apart from the blue because to me, it was too much. I then had to find the right brush to be able to write 'Confident' which took me a while, but I think it looks good now.

Hope you guys like it!

My dear friend since childhood...

Jelly is in Gentile's outfits which make her look just like a teddy bear :3. I really love the velvet work on the top and the head ribbon so much, they are so soft.

I feel that she's very good with the dark wig but i still don't feel very confident about her eyes.
