I was actually trying to compose an entirely different shot, but apparently the new camera had other ideas. It grabbed me by my lapel (read: balls) and made me take this picture instead. I bow to the camera's whims. I think it's smarter than me. (I also think it's going to kill me before breakfast and take my still-beating heart for itself.)
Beautiful composition with part of a house, agriculture fields and cloudy sky in Dafnes village, Heraklion, Crete

A male Blackbuck (Antilope cervicapra) was marching in its natural habitat with a Royal attitude. The kingdom belongs to him and the steps are majestic looking against such lovely backdrop bokeh here. This unique composition is a visual pleasure to any Nature Lover around the World. Pics was taken from Tal Chhapar Sanctuary in Rajasthan, India.

When light is harsh and there is a composition to be had just go for it. When I saw this scene I thought mono but when I was on PS yesterday I was in two minds, then went back to my original thought and ran it through Silver Efex. I like the high contrast result now.
We went out this morning with a thought of going to some woods but the weather had other ideas for us, the rain came down in Biblical proportions and we ended up having to drive through floodwaters very cautiously, the woods are now so waterlogged i think you would need thigh boots to get through.
Never the less I did take some images to show in a day or so, now we are back home the sky has cleared the sun is out , more of the same to come the next two days .

Taken at Priddy Pond on the Mendip Hills, Somerset. This composition gives some idea of the flight sequence of the dragonfly.
An Asian barred owlet (Glaucidium cuculoides) was framed resting on a Pine tree branch with a gorgeous looks on offer. Nature with a subject in full attention and a sweet backdrop bokeh - all made this a very very eye pleasing composition indeed. Love the lights and the texture of the tree bark with algae on it and the expression of the Owlet in this background! Pics was taken from Sattal Forest in Uttarakhand, India.
