St Vianney's Home of Compassion, Timaru NZ. Abandoned, and soon to be demolished.

"It is possible to have both justice and compassion"

Justice would say,"This is my iPod Touch so I decide if you can play with it or not." Compassion would say, "Let him play with the iPod. He's just a little kid... Stop teasing him." The two disagree, yet justice and compassion combines as they allow the child to play with it while still having control over when the iPod should return to its rightful owner. Problem: Solved.

In To Kill A Mockingbird, Tom Robinson was brought to a jail in another town, keeping him secure from wild violence that may occur while in Maycomb, a graceful compassion towards the man. This was also an act of justice, for if Tom Robinson was to settle in Maycomb, he may have been lynched months before the trial, which would simply be adding breath to fire of hate. Mr. Tom Robinson was protected by Maycomb's grand justice and compassion, a wonderful miracle.
