beneath the pillars of a quiet night, she sits with her loyal companion. the city moves, but here, time stands still. a cigarette burns slowly, a phone glows faintly, and the dog rests in quiet contentment. two souls sharing a stillness, each immersed in their own world yet undeniably connected.

This is my nose:-
Definition:-
The wet nose of dogs, and cats, is useful for the perception of direction. The sensitive cold receptors in the skin detect the place where the nose is cooled the most and this is the direction a particular smell that the animal just picked up comes from.
Wikipedia
Your nose lets you smell and it's a big part of why you are able to taste things. The nose is also the main gate to the respiratory system, your body's system for breathing.

A lifelong promise to keep, a lifetime companion to have. Let's walk together into a prosperous year of 2013! (: HAPPY NEW YEAR:)
One more wave from this past January. Again, all of these waves had some sort of interesting character visible within, and this is no different. I see two different figures here - a face in the wave, and maybe a vulture head (both to go with the seagull that decided to join the wave.) Neat!
Ok, this is the last of my wave series! At least until the weather turns ugly, I guess!
