The male is striking with his red and yellow shoulders, to attract females. The females are pretty plain (but in this case very cute) in order to be camouflaged while nesting and raising their young.

i'm unsure between this and the first in comments. i liked that one, but i told myself i wasn't posting another b&w
obviously, i have issues. i made a mohawk (actually a faux hawk) using shampoo.
not a good idea
and i said i was going to go outside. i hate how this blue wall has started to dominate my stream. but going outside didn't work out.
i hate how my mom looks at me disapprovingly whenever i go outside to take pictures.
especially if it's of myself.
i think she thinks i'm narcissistic .
so like a month ago I was at home looking at the Jonas Brother's old comments on myspace like from 2005 and I found some pretty interesting things lol and FYI if you didn't know alex is JB's former drummer who is now the drummer for Honor Society :)

Today it is raining outside and I'm sitting in my room writing an essay for my Canadian short story class which is due Monday...and that I've just barely started. I'm also reading H.G. Well's The Island of Doctor Moreau for a different English class and thought this picture was fitting.
I dont really have any motivation to take pictures though as my cold has just gotten worse so sorry for the not very inspiring photo.
if you could please either ask permission to blog my photos or credit them that'd be great, thank you.
This was best photo, because light reflections to boat water makes this one look realy nice.
