I times of discomfort, fear, sadness, we gather, huddle and hug? We look for some kind of reassurance? Tears badly hidden, arms longing, feeling the need for one another more than ever.
An IMPORTANT, all too often forgotten,ingredient in photography, more IMPORTANT than technical prowess, a photo without emotion is ... just a 'picture'?
Yes, that can even be expressed with and by flowers. I do NOT talk to flowers... but I will gladly listen, with my eyes.

Argh! im so behind with my project (again) but I'm back on track with tons of ideas to keep me motivated.
I went to London yesterday for a day trip with Julia and Lewis, it was a 3 hour journey by bus and to my misery we didnt even get to sit by each other because it was so packed. so it was 3 hours of sitting uncomfortably next to a stranger hoping that you don't make a silly noise or embarrass yourself so they don't judge you the entire way.
I sat quietly for 2 hours, listening to my music and just thinking about the day ahead. Towards the end of the journey, the guy I was sat next to started to talk to me, he was a friendly guy from Italy named Stefano. He's in his early 20s and he's studying in uni to become some sort of world relations leader. we talked for ages about everything from jobs, to our hobbies, what cars we own, right down to swapping our countries chewing gum :') before I knew it, the journey was over and we shook hands and parted ways.
Im not sure what the point of my story is, it just made me see that I shouldn't make myself suffer when something out of my comfort zone can make things better.
Remember, we all stumble, every one of us. That's why it's a comfort to go hand in hand.

There was a bit of a chill in the air today, especially after yesterday's warmer than seasonal temperatures that broke records in Ottawa, so after a long day in the office and when all the day's errands had been completed, I decided on comfort food for dinner.
Nothing quite like soup (sweet basil and asparagus in this case) and grilled cheese (swiss, not cheddar) to warm you up after a chilly day.

Through a couple days of rain two of the gang of five appear to comfort each other but is more likely grooming behavior among the group.
I am not a wildlife or any life photographer, but when something like this happens, one doesnt miss it

Een erg leuke DAF 44 uit 1969. Blijkbaar was dit exemplaar niet bestemd voor de Nederlandse markt, want deze guitige sedan is in 2007 naar Nederland geïmporteerd. Echter wél in Nederland geproduceerd, de 44 was de eerste auto die in Born (Limburg) geproduceerd werd.

A very nice DAF 44 from 1969. Apparently this copy was not intended for the Dutch market, because this cute sedan was imported to the Netherlands in 2007. However, it was produced in the Netherlands, the 44 was the first car to be produced in Born (Limburg).

well I am fed up with everything my life ......hold on hold on!! that was yesterdays musing today I will be more up beat maybe! possibly ! well a little if I can be.
As I may have pointed out this top isn't very flattering for the figure unless of course you have bits to hide and yeah I have a few bits that need hiding around the waist area lol. Well don't we all??
I had been thinking about this top while at work today and decided I might just wear it on Wednesday when I go out. But what to wear iy with????
I could go somewhat Essex like and wear it with leggings and short boots. not a bad look.
Or I could go a little upmarket and have a more Suffolk look and team it with skinny jeans (not that skinny) and a pair of heels.
Or and this one works but its a little risky just wear the top as a dress with gladiator sandals. the sandals I will have to buy as don't onw a pair.
Well who knows maybe a few helpful suggestions wouldn't go a miss.
Really loving look at the moment. the hair, the top, me, everything. sorry if that's a little self indulgent I think comfort is the key to being happy.
