Eagle Resolve is an annual multilateral exercise designed to enhance regional cooperative defense efforts of the Gulf Cooperation Council nations and U.S. Central Command. 120127-A-TF780-203 CALLAO, Peru (January 27, 2012) Steelworker 2nd Class Rejuny Caswell, assigned to Navy Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 23, embarked aboard High Speed Vessel (HSV 2) Swift, uses a hammer drill to drill anchor holes into a pre-fabricated wall frame, for a wall that will be built at Escuela Commodore in Zona De Acapulco. NMCB 23 is working with Engineers from Base Naval De Callao and Brigada Infanteria De Marina De Ancon, as part of Southern Partnership Station (SPS 12) 2012. The Seabees and Engineers will spend three weeks refurbishing schools in the area. HSV-SPS 12 is an annual deployment of U.S. Navy ships and assets to the U.S. Southern Command’s area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America. The exercise involves information sharing with Navies, Coast Guards and civilian services throughout the region.
