Didn't realise how cluttered this part of the lounge it so it looks like tomorrow it will be tidy up time. Since the weather is now getting warmer the fire will not need to be lit so the logs and coal can be stored away.
Yeah we live in the dark ages in our house. now here is a story for you. when we first moved 19 years ago the house was a repossession so getting the services connect was more than just a pain. this meant that we had no gas and as our cooker was a gas one we had now means of cooking or making tea.
Well being a re enactor we had all the kit to enable us to cook on an open fire and that's just what we did. I think the first meal was a spaghetti bolognaise cooked in a caldron and I remember spit roasting a chicken.
I tell you youngsters don't know how easy they have it today lol.
I normally try to avoid wildlife photos cluttered with things like wire, but I keep finding myself returning to this shot, probably because it is a bit unusual. And I think I've worked out why Cuckoos have zygodactylous feet like woodpeckers ( I jest). But it is in a rather woodpecker-like pose on a fencepost with a splayed tail. I don't know why it briefly perched like this. Maybe it was eyeing up the ragwort for Cinnabar moth caterpillars. This was the confiding juvenile Cuckoo that spent a few days recently in Radcliffe, near Elton Reservoir.

Please forgive the terrible clutter around here. Our household order has suffered terribly since all these kittens came into our lives. We tried mightily to keep ahead of the mess in the beginning, but quickly realized we'd have no choice but to let things slide for the time being. 😣
Good news on that front however, as they have finally settled down quite a bit from their rambunctious kittenhood....and perhaps we can return to some semblance of order. In fact....I do believe it's high time for Maid Daisy to give the place a good top to bottom cleaning...don't you?? 😉
I'm finally back in Houston. It will take me a couple of days to fall back into things, but I'm happy to be here. The trip was great, but by the third week, I was feeling a bit of vacation fatigue (and a bit under the weather as well.) Anyway, plenty of photos to go through. PLUS...plenty of your photos to look at! Yea!

5 "What the?!" Facts About Me:
1. I love to collect things. Some of the weird things I used to collect were Yu-Gi-Oh Cards (2k++), Highlighters (50+), Post-Its (20+), Colored Papers (100+), Notebooks (30+), Picture Frames (30+) and a lot more weird stuff.
2. I can text message with my eyes closed or when I'm not looking. That includes looking for the recepient of the msg.
3. I only wear pumps. I don't like open-toed heels. :D
4. I used to wear short shorts every single day. I still wear them now, but not as much.
5. I don't speak Filipino (our native language) well. I prefer English :P
PS. I don't know what I was thinking painting my room PINK AND YELLOW. Omg, I know.
I know, I know, modern means simple and uncluttered, but I just can't deny my love for lots of stuff. Clutter is my friend, so clutter it is.

This E shape housing estate built in the 70's was made up of 5 blocks. It's high density has attracted the filming crew of Blockbuster "Transformers 4" and hence was nicknamed "The Monster Building".
Now seen as the perfect representative of Hong Kong's over populated community, it is often visited by photographers.

Really, what is all that signage about, when S board would suffice?! I was a Merry-Go-Round & round the Fife Circle a couple of times today, paused at Lochgelly catching up with the stopper as booked. As well as a trip to Cowlairs & back first.
20 311 and 20 314 approach Wilnecote in the pouring rain with 7X10 04.32 Fenny Compton to Derby Litchurch Lane returning a rake of London Underground S-Stock for signaling modifications. The consist is viewed through the immense amount of platform 'equipment' provided at the station.

This is my bedroom. Just so you know that photos aren't the only things I've been neglecting, my room is gigantic mess. Focusing on school for a couple more days & then freedom!
I decided the view from the footbridge was too cluttered so opted to go back to the car park. There were a couple of bits of whispy cloud floating about so thankfully this arrived just at the right time. 67023 'Stella' heads away from the seaside on the next leg of the 1Z22 Tyseley to Bristol Tester
Barnyards with discarded tires, abandoned snowmobiles, and heaps of hay bales are fairly common around here, but this classic barn and granary still look great with the spring green colors. This was found along Cub River Road near Preston, Idaho.
