I'm practicing getting down real low to take photos.
Some still grow and blossum. It is almost time and wait till next year. A stone in the backgroud, markstone for the roads wich cross here

Oh...well...eh...a very good idea and very sweet of you Peter.
But...why are they in one of your shoes?
PETER:
I couldn't find a vase for the flowers, so I put them in a shoe. And I filled the shoe with water, so they stay beautiful.
OLEG:
Your kidding
PETER:
No...I'm always seri...seri...you know what I mean.
Besides, I don't have to wear shoes now, because it's summer
Then I always walk barefoot..paws.
OLEG
I understand
And now it's time for a cup of tea with a piece of cake.

As the sun was setting along the edge of the lake this little clover lit up like a little lightbulb ...
I drove all the way to Gary and Chicago just to shoot some weeds and walls. But not really. Just too busy to process the approximately 800 photographs that I did take. And I never, ever shoot that much. Hope everyone is having an awesome holiday weekend. I know I sure am.

Turns out catadioptric lenses can have great bokeh under the right conditions — even if you're not into the donut bokeh. I made this with a Tamron SP 500 mirror lens. And I like the Monet quality to its rendering here.
