While going for a Desert Safari in Dubai, I spotted this deer at a short distance from us. I was amazed to see it, as I never expected a deer to be in a desert. Then, I was told by a local person that authorities in Dubai have artificially introduced numerous wildlife species into the desert which were naturally not a part of ecosystem there and have also started to grow grass in desert soil. Amazing, what technology can do!!
Bald Eagle with catch at Conowingo, MD 2010. I wasn't crazy about posting another eagle on a plain blue sky so I used a texture to enhance the background and make it more of an art piece.
Texture by rubyblossom, thank you!

A beautiful Blue-banded Bee buzzes in, hovering near a vibrant basil plant. Its distinct blue bands glisten in the sunlight as it approaches the flowers, wings beating rapidly. The bee’s movement is quick and precise, expertly navigating around the basil blooms to gather nectar. The moment captures the mesmerizing beauty and essential role of these little pollinators in the garden.
These guys are hard to catch a clean shot, they are so spastic and fast... cute little guys.
