I have been out of the house since 6:40 and got home at 8:40. Instead of settling for an Eli picture and calling it a day, I made a stop at the closed Dominick's to get a picture. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!
Day 26
I went to Wat Arun at "closing" time. I guess it doesn't really close at the time it advertises. No crowds, good light, just me, with a couple of monks, photographers, and cats. It was great!

Have some new photography gear, snapped this blurry shot on my first flight, galahs got a little close!
This was taken at school in the hallway for a colse up of the face. I didn't want to take a picture of an eye becuase that was too common so i decided to take a picture of lips.
One of many, many examples of close calls where fire had burnt right up to the property but it was saved. Looking around it is easy to see this could have been a catastrophe with lives lost and much more property destroyed over a wide area.
Down in this close in Edinburgh was a printing firm who printed the works of Robert Burns and the 1st Edition of the Encyclopaedia Britiannica.
The parents of Sir Walter Scott also lived for a time in this close.

Wick Royal British Legion Scotland Pipe Band, closing ceremony Mòd Ghallaibh 2010, The Royal National Mòd, march of the pipe bands and massed choirs through the town, sadly I missed the final performance in the town, but the week has been a real experience.
