Der Titel bezieht sich lediglich auf die Farbe und soll keinerlei Anlehnung an Kubricks Romaninhalte bieten... ;-))
Wie bereits beim vorherigen Bild beschrieben, gliedert sich das Gebäude in zwei Farbbereiche. Hier schauen wir von Orange nach Rot und zwischendrin in der Mitte ist ein großer Lesesaal. Hinter den Durchgängen links und rechts kann man dann zum begehrten Lesestoff gelangen. In der oberen Etage ist das Arbeiten auch möglich, hier sogar das Träumen... an den großen Fenstern lässt sich wunderbar ins Weite blicken!

Am heutigen 9. November konnte ich erstmals die 186 423 "Clockwork" der RTB Cargo fotografieren.
Nichtsahnend wollte ich am Mittag die Stelle wechseln und fuhr gemütlich in Richtung Loreley. Als ich am Roßsteintunnel um die Ecke bog und am Loreley Betriebsbahnhof vorbeifuhr, erblickte ich im Gegenlicht die Clockwork 186 423 die gerade von einem umgeleiteten IC überholt wurde. Mit quitschenden Reifen wurde schnell gedreht und zurück zum südlichen Portal des Roßsteintunnel gerast. Warnblinker an und schnell die Mauer hochgesprintet, wenige Sekunden später schon rauschte es im Tunnel und das Objekt der Begierde landete im Kasten! Was ein Timing!

A CLOCKWORK ORANGE
Portrait of a stupendous, adult male, orange phase Lowland Copperhead (Austrelaps superbus) found thermoregulating under cover at lunchtime today. The weather conditions were cool and overcast, with light drizzle. The air temperature about 15 deg. C. at that time. I have strategically placed the car bonnet he was under right near the back door in an effort to attract such beauties, and I can tell you that it did not disappoint. I had not yet been acquainted with him prior to this meeting, so we got to know each other a little better over a quick photo shoot before he was promptly returned to his tin palace. I really love how the coal-coloured interstitial skin is offsetting those raised, plate-like orange scales. He was posing like a fucken superstar this snake. I owe it all to him. So clean and completely unblemished- and in peak physiological condition. What a glamour of a neighbour I've got!!
De 186 423 van RTB Cargo is helaas maar zeer zelden te zien in België. Op 8 juni werd de loc dan toch eens ingepland om enkele treinen in België te verzekeren. In de namiddag mocht de Clockwork loc een lege kalkslurry trein slepen van Schwerte naar Antwerpen-Lillo (deze trein ging uiteindelijk nog verder naar Terneuzen met een Class 66). In de avond ging de 186 423 dan terug richting Duitsland met een lege suikertrein.
In Schulen kwam de zon op het juiste moment heel even kort tevoorschijn zodat deze foto kon gemaakt worden.

Uhrwerk Orange (Originaltitel: A Clockwork Orange) ist Stanley Kubricks Verfilmung des gleichnamigen Zukunftsromans von Anthony Burgess. Dem Film liegt die ursprüngliche amerikanische Buchversion des Romans zugrunde, die um das letzte Kapitel gekürzt wurde. Daher unterscheidet sich das Ende im bereits 10 Jahre zuvor erschienenen Buch sehr von dem im Film gezeigten. Kubricks Film tauchte mehrmals in Top-Ten-Listen internationaler Filme auf. Am 23. März 1972 wurde er erstmals in deutschen Kinos gezeigt.
