My students challenged me to build our classroom in LEGO. Seeing their reactions when they discovered the details of their daily environment and the minifigs representing them was a real pleasure! 😊
This is one of the classrooms you might find yourself in while at the COD library. The classrooms on the first floor are found on the southern end of the library. Usually this is where there are classes to learn how to use the resources, but there are also other events. Check out the workshops the library offers for more help searching online.
Today's weather forecast says that we will have heavy rain around 4pm. So when I went to London, I put my Canon 60mm macro lens for street photograph in the rain. On the contrary, it didn't rain (as far as where I was). Fortunately I also took my loving Planar T* 50mm with me so I changed the lens and took this. No rain resulted a chairs' shot :-) *LoL*

The wooden desk is an artifact that returned to the room after completion of the renovation. Instructors brought it from another space.
A new addition to Judy's classroom is this SmartBoard, a combination projector, stereo, and touchscreen. Hook up a laptop, and the software lets you "write" on the screen with virtual markers and "erase" with a virtual eraser (they are physical items, but just work as styluses touching the touchscreen, and don't mark the actual board).
Because it's digital, work can be saved, videos shown, Flash used, etc.

Plenty of space for moving between the rows of computers which is nice for having people work together or being able to help people out.
