From a recent trip to the Columbia River Gorge, Multnomah is a 2 tiered waterfall 620ft in height. It's still a classic view of an amazing pacific northwest waterfall that left me in awe, no matter how many times it's been photographed.

Heh, I think of Athena when I see this photo. Beautiful and powerful.
Soooo... can you guess what is my absolute favorite deity of all?! It's on! A print for the person who guesses which one is my favorite God. One rule, you can only guess one name.
Little hint, it can be a God/Goddess from anywhere in the world.

Location: Ter Apel - at the Bosbeek - the Netherlands.
Exposure: 3 brackets of -2 Ev, +/-0 Ev and +2 Ev at f/8, mounted on a Manfrotto 190.
Description: During the grubbing of the so-called "Bourtangermoor" - in the Northern provinces Groningen and Drenthe - the whole old peat-mouth scheme was nearly replaced by straight canals. At the end of the previous century the convalescence of several old peat-flows - such as the Runde and the Ruiten Aa - started to develop.
This picture was taken at the Bosbeek (forest-branch), which has been dug in 2000. This new piece of water-plan connects the Runde with the Ruiten Aa (canals).
Due to house construction it was no longer possible to maintain the original flow of streaming water from the bayou. When the complete route has been gradually recovered, peat-water from the highmoor-reservoir Bargerveen will flow to sea once again.
Technique: HDR Tone Mapping & PS color and contrast enhancements.
Two layer copies with corresponding masks used for selective sharpening and sensor junk removal. A custom double-s curve for overall contrast. A selective Levels layer to brighten the trees in the background a bit. Another custom one-point curve layer for a second contrast adjustment throughout the scene.
The warm subdued color toning was inspired by 17th century paintings, those by William Blake in particular. The end-result was achieved by using three adjustment layers: Photo Filter (orange), Hue/Saturation and Selective Color.
A blueprint of real world grain - Agfa Scala 200x - was sampled and applied as well as a soft Gaussian Blur for the overall effect as a final touch.

VIA Rail Canada's flagship train "The Canadian" is seen rolling across the historic Seguin River Trestle in beautiful Parry Sound, Ontario. The leader, no. 6416, is an F40PH-2 decked out in the funky Canada 150 scheme. On this gloomy morning in October, the Canadian was running about 5.5 hours late, which allowed for some fairly uncommon photos of it on the trestle in daylight.

I got her awhile before PUDDLE, but I was too busy to do much more than debox her. I also didn't get around to trying out the photo backdrops that I got from Tiny Frock Shop: tinyfrockshop.com/collections/fashion-doll-diy-photograph...
