A rear three quarter view of freshly out shopped 91127. Looking so good, a modern take on the original “Executive” livery the Class wore when first introduced way back in 1989.

just finished up a 2 day class this weekend. We had such a great group of 15 photographers and such wonderful models. This was our oldest model at 20 days and check out that red hair!!

In the twilight of their career I was fortunate to get a pair of Gloucester Carriage & Wagon Company built two-car Class 100 diesel multiple units sit at Blaenau Ffestiniog on 12 August 1983.

We were fortunate to ride down from Llaundudno on these. One of the sets was formed of 50356/56111 which I had seen sandwiched between a pair of Class 101 sets on North Wales Coast services a few days earlier.

The bloke down the pub says some continued in use until 1988 - was this in passenger or departmental service?

66535 and 66621 on the West Anglia RHTT pause for a moment of reflection in Royston Loop on 12 November 2013. This was one of those fots where digital was far superior to celluloid. The camera was positioned on the platform surface, making it impossible to use the viewfinder, so I used a process of trial and error. And a little wind reduced the sharpness of the reflection on some of those, something I couldn't detect until I downloaded the images.

Help me explore the concept of online quid pro quo. You get great visual content and I get extra credit in my emerging media class. Or at least that's the cunning plan...

Also, if you have an idea for a custom graphic you need for your own blog or website, please share with me at mkhmktg@yahoo.com. I'll give it my best shot to create something for you.

She's a bit long and a bit tall for a proper Class A. Maybe it's a weird future version where the Climax didn't die out and became more of a mainline loco. I've always preferred the "Shanty on a Shingle" look of the Class A's to the more polished later versions.

Powered using Tenka Circuit cubes (battery hidden in water tank) with relatively accurate drive line. No slip joints, just happened to get the exact driveline lengths where the slop in the universals allows the engine around turns without binding.
