Bad Luck City opening for Edward Ka-Spel and The Silverman (of the Legendary Pink Dots and Tear Garden) at the Walnut Room 5-18-2012.
This was a great show, but no flash was allowed, and the lighting was pretty dark (especially for Orbit Service), so some photos are a bit grainy.
Three westbound trains approach Harlem Avenue in Oak Park. That's a freight train on the left, a Metra commuter in the middle, and my green line 'L' coming on the right.

A short visit to Tokyo including a trip up the Tokyo Tower and walk through JR East's beautifully restored Tokyo Station.
It's been a very temperamental day in terms of weather - a dynamic mix of clouds, rain, sun and winds... but had its golden moments :-)

A beautiful Good morning shot looking North-East towards the Upper East Side with the Upper West Side to the left, The Essex Hotel, Central Park, The Avon / Solow Building, 5th Avenue, Four Seasons Hotel, and Bloomberg Building.
The Hudson River is visible on the far left starting just above the George Washington Bridge.
