A true survivor this one. Lucky it didn't get sent to the scrap yard.

This is also the third Citation known to be in this town. This one is neat beause it has 'XGM' in the number plate.

It was a bit of a culture shock when Cessna came along with the Citation business jet in 1972, as I mainly associated the company with light aircraft with props. I had not seen their T-37 jet trainer at that point.

More recent Citations are nothing like the look of the original, and it seems the company use the name for any of their business jets.

The FAA, responsible for the US civil aircraft register, usually registered their own fleet with low numbers without a suffix, such as N10 seen here in 1974.
