An Alaska Brown Bear enjoys a fresh Salmon lunch near the river where she is fishing.
Brown Bears in Katmai National Park consume approximately 100 pounds of salmon per day as they fatten-up for the coming winter.
Salmon in Alaska are born in freshwater rivers and streams, travel to and live much of their lives in salt water and return to freshwater to spawn. After spawning, salmon die within a few weeks.

Cada día despues del desayuno me coloco en este maravilloso círculo y no lo abandono hasta la hora de la cena. Every day after breakfast I place myself in this wonderful circle and I do not abandon it until dinner time.
Oil pastels...Was almost going to abandon shooting this until I saw the band of sunlight streaming through the window. I placed the pastels in the sunlight and the difference the light made was incredible! The colours became so much more vivid and alive.

This Buzzard was circling overhead all the time the Atlas was doing its circuits so I grabbed a few shots of it too.

My grandmother's diamond ring, given to her in celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary, by my grandfather is priceless to me. As is my wedding ring.
