These are truly red hot chili peppers. If you use them carefully they do add some good zingy flavor to foods. I had just waters and they looked so pretty dripping with water.

I'm with You is the tenth studio album by the American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. The album was released by Warner Bros. Records on August 26, 2011 in Europe and on August 29, 2011 in the US.

The album cover is designed by controversial British artist Damien Hirst. On July 5, 2011, the cover artwork was released through the band's mailing list. Kiedis described the album's cover art by saying, "It's an image. It's art. Iconic. We didn't give it its meaning but it's clearly open to interpretation."

 

The cover features a fly sitting on the edge of a pink-and-white drug capsule emblazoned with the disc's title, with the band's name faintly visible up top in white text against a light gray background.

Given that the Corona vaccin is the item of 2021 and the world wide lockdown, this is my take on Hirst's design.

Le pucará (village fortifié) de Quitor est un site pré-inca daté du xiie siècle. Il est situé à trois kilomètres au nord de la ville chilienne de San Pedro de Atacama, dans la province d'El Loa, une des trois provinces de la Región de Antofagasta.

Le pucará est établi sur les flancs d'une colline et constitue une forteresse dotée d'un mur défensif. Il ne se visite plus mais se regarde de la colline d'en face !

Quite possibly the pinnacle of hot dog goodness

 

Hot dogs in a bun smothered with chili, sprinkled with shredded co-jack cheese and then hit with a little bit of hot sauce. My only regret is that I didn't have any gooey, yummy nacho cheese to put on top as well.

My chili plants are still indoors by the window, waiting for the cold snap to pass.

SOME ingredients for my kick-ass chili. Note the Pizza Hut flavor packets. Yes, Pizza Hut. It somehow works. I won't tell you what the other special ingredients are though.

Spur of the moment chili: cook 1/2 lb of lean ground beef & then drain fat. Saute in another pan, 1/2 yellow onion, diced. Add to pot: onion, beef, 1 can of tomatoes, 1 small can of tomato paste, 1 can of black beens, 2 serrano chilis (sliced. Think you're so tough? Put a raw sliver in your mouth), one Japanese eggplant (meaty slices), 2 garlic cloves (minced), and spices to taste: salt, pepper, oregano, chili powder, a little ground cumin. Simmer for some time, an hour if you can; the eggplant takes a while to soften. Eat too soon, and it will taste tart. Grate cheddar over top for extra taste.

 

I think dark beers go best with chili. I chose St. Peter's Cream Stout, and I chose wisely.
