Some scans of recently discovered old 6 x 4 prints taken by myself back in the 1980s and 1990s. These were taken with my trusted Canon AE1 camera and at the time I didn’t think some of them were good enough to use however, I thought some might find them interesting and that I would now share them.
NATCA Chief of Staff Dean Iacopelli and FAA Air Traffic Services Vice President Jeffrey Vincent moderated a panel titled, “Working the Issues: A Template for Success,” on the #NATCACFS 2022 main stage. Panelists were Delta Airlines Air Traffic Management Senior Manager Rob Goldman; JetBlue Airlines Strategic Airspace Programs Manager Lee Brown; FAA Central Service Area Director of Operations Hope Kubala; and NATCA Southern Regional Vice President Jim Marinitti.

Okay, again the eye. I will change the record one day.
Maybe when I am happier with the rest of me perhaps? I'm not a huge fan of me right now. I'm fatter than I have ever been (well I feel it, according to the scales not so much). I am fed up of not really being able to exercise. I need to do something, but work is taking everything out of me. I will insist on trying to do full-time days though. Although the weeks are capped at about 29 hours right now as I am struggling to pass that threshold.
My 'best' hours are between about 11am and 4pm. After that I seriously begin to struggle (if i haven't already been struggling). And even then, you can guess that I only manage maybe 3 or 4 'good' days out of the week.
At night I seem to flick from insomnia to hypersomnia in one fell swoop. I still push through though and try to be 'normal'. I have a bloody good mask that I hide behind.
I should be pleased though? I'm better than I was. I am far better than some people are. I can do things others cannot. It's not life threatening so what on earth gives me the right to be so self-absorbed and whingy about it?
I don't know.
Today at #NATCACFS2019 attendees stood silently for a moment of reflection and respect for the terrible loss our #NATCAfamily suffered on Saturday, September 14. Words cannot express the tremendous grief we feel regarding the passing of our beloved Union brother Bryan Roberts of Fort Worth Center (ZFW).
Bryan was a great NATCAvist, and a dedicated aviation safety professional. His flight assist earlier this year earned him honorable mention in this year’s Archie League Medal of Safety Awards program. Bryan believed in this Union and had a commitment to safety that was unparalleled. CFS was his favorite event and truly changed the safety culture of ZFW. He and his energy and spirt will be missed.
While we all mourn Bryan, his passing will be particularly difficult for his NATCA brothers and sisters from ZFW, the Southwest Region, and the ASI Committee. Our deepest sympathies go to Bryan’s wife and his two sons. His colleagues have set up a GoFundMe page to assist his family during this terrible time.

4 wheel drive firefighting appliances carrying trained volunteers at a grass and scrub fire near Inman Valley, South Australia.
Above average temperatures and dangerous winds meant it was a 'Total Fire Ban' day in parts of South Australia. A prolonged dry period has left the countryside at risk of rapidly spreading wildfires. This fire burnt in steep hilly country just south of Adelaide.
Halverwege het lijntje van de CFS ligt het depot. Het huisvest een enorme collectie aan 60cm smalspoormateriaal. Een 30tal tractievoertuigen en een 70tal wagens werden verzameld. De vorige eigenaars waren voornamelijk Belgische steenbakkerijen en steenkoolmijnen. Een groot deel van dit materiaal is rijvaardig. Een ritje over het lijntje met enkele leuke kronkels is een aanrader en een feest voor kinderen.
