Sorry for the late uploads, I've been busy with placements.
This year I had the opportunity to display at Brickvention again, making it my 7th display there. Catching up with all my mates from around Australia!!, my display included my newly designed car ferry, emergency vehicles and a developing street-scape (which I alter).
I purchased only a few pieces, as I've had minimal spare cash, but with what I got it will be put to good use. So keep an eye out for a few more photos.
"Seen better days" is probably being kind to this VAL / Vega Major, although it was never the happiest-looking body in my eyes, and certainly not with the weight of a car causing it to sag like this !
It had been new to Viking Motors of Burton-on-Trent, and after all this time was not based far from its home town, with driver Thompson in Newton Coleorton, in North West Leicestershire. It kept on going until 1987 with its last owner.
I've been slowly constructing individual models of assorted vehicles from the Victorian Emergency Services, including the CFA, MFB, Vic Police and Ambulance Victoria. And designing more structures and vehicles of these and more services, so keep an eye out for further models to come on my flickr.
Please feel free to ask questions of designs, techniques, references, design flaws, improvements and anything else you have to say about my models.
There will continue to be a slow progression through these builds and uploads due to placements, work and additional components of my career pathway, while also my normal family life.

A mate of mine requested I make the Tanker that they have at their station, enjoy!
Also, this is just a taste of my now collection of 26 fire appliances.

During my time off I had a chance to build a few more emergency vehicles and to commence the build of a local fire station (photos on their way).
Please enjoy!
rifle CFA m/1 is of Italian producings, and uses maligned "blowing forwerd" system of cocking for rounds. when bullet is fired, it is pull barrel forward which is in turn pulling forward receiver coverings and allowing for expunging of empty shell bullets and fresh inserting of clean bullet. rifle fires 6.5x38mm rimless cartridge at ranges of 300 arshin with too option of fire setting: halfway avtomat, and avtomat at a rate of 350 bullet per every minute.
Yeah, that description was in very broken English. Just a parody of worldguns :P
Steam was rarely more impressive than a Garratt. Although the photographer is unknown (just possible it was E. E. Smith) the print I have is captioned. So we know this is July 1951 at Constantine (Roman) in Algeria. This is CFA Garratt BT13. Note there is some air smoothing and that lovely Cossart valve gear. 1951 was the year they were withdrawn. www.dieselpunks.org/profiles/blogs/sunday-streamline-67-a...
Recently I've had some time between assessment tasks to construct some more appliances to add to my fleet, and continue designing my station for BV18.
So please enjoy!, I'm open to opinions and questions.
