====================================
A whole year. I can't believe it. It really doesn't seem like it's been that long. And it does at the same time.
I started this project with the hopes that I would come out the other end a better photographer. I also just needed something to do with myself. I've definitely learned a lot, and improved a lot as a photographer.
Starting out, I honestly didn't think I would finish. But here i m with my final 365th photograph.
I know there's only one photo a day, which is simple but anybody can click thousands of pictures a day but thn maintaining quality and having a proper creative idea behind it was more important to me keeping the existing technicalies, knowledge and the gadgets i posses ... hence that doesn't mean I only took one photo a day. In my Project 365 folder, there are 3,292 photos. That's 42.16 GB.
For someone who wants to start a Project 365, just go for it. There's nothing to lose. Just do it with thtorough honesty to urself and this art .. Not every day will be a masterpiece, but just keep the shutter going.
I think one of the coolest things about Project 365 is that you have a record of everyday of your life during that year. Normally, you wouldn't remember every single day of your life, but I can remember taking every single photo. I remember what was going on when I took it, where I was, etc. For every single day of the year. And I think that's pretty cool.

I want to thank My family, of course! My parents, who have been so inspiring and supportive of my photography all along (they helped make this camera possible).
My wife Ruhee, who has silently tolerated my late nights at the computer, buying and arranging props for me .. becoming my assistant when needed .. inspiring me by praising every single picture .. keeping a shut eye and a deaf ear to constant flashes of SB900/600 while having her evening nap ..
- And last but not least, my doters who have come up with innovative ideas .. Sana helping me with painting/drawing/sketching and Afshan helping me with hand modeling ..being my assistant when need .. helping me with descriptions for the pictures ... they have steered me through and pushed me to go on when I was down and low by massive pressure of 365.
Lastly what would i have done without my 2731 friends on FB .. u all r so dear to me .. makes me feel so happy .. so proud that i hv so many well wishers .. so many who liked what i experimented in the world of photography .. very humbly I want to say thank you to everyone not only here on Facebook .. but friends on flickr .. on twitter .. on my wordpress blog .. on google plus .. u all hav supported and encouraged me along the way.
thnks to those as well who just looked at my photos. It really means a lot that people take the time to check them out. I just want to thank everyone for making all of that happen.

It is people that make a site what it is org group, as so many have said before me, like a big social circle, you make friends...
I enjoy the fact that it is so very international.
On top of everything else, here the common factor, a love for photography.
We share our images, each time giving a little bit of ourselves away.
It is amazing what photos often tell about the person who took them!
I thank you for sharing your images and your time.
Wishing you ALL THE VERY BEST! Magda, (*_*)

Seen SOMEwhere in the bowels of a casino in Las Vegas! NO idea really where we had gotten off to, nobody else down there, but some fabulous art to peruse! :)
"Dirigible" is not a word or description that would have come to mind for me, with this work . . . but whatever.

Despite the years, despite the crowd walking on you, despite your children ignoring you, despite the sad songs of your past you hum, you always give your laugh, your kindness, your trust.

Happy New Year to you all.
I had this shot in mind over Christmas but my daughter was unwell and had a temperature every day so had to put it on hold.
Got round to it today.
We saved all the Christmas sweetie wrappers specially, not sure how the chocolate got round her mouth though lol.
For the lighting I used
1 x softbox to my daughters left (Nikon SB600) 1/16th power
1 x softbox to my daughters right (Elemental strobe) 1/16th power
1 x Beauty dish with honeycomb grid to camera right (Elemental strobe)1/2 power
All lights where fired off camera using Yongnuo RF-602 trigger + receivers
The two softboxes where just outside the picture and level with my daughter so they was very close to her.
The beauty dish was beside myself and about three foot away from her.
I think portraits are one of the hardest things to do in photography so kudos to all you guys and gals who do an excellent job.

The Holi festival, also known as "Dol Utsav" is one of the important annual festival of Hinduism. The followers from the community celebrate the day across the globe harmonically every year. Bangladesh, being a historical heritage & major root for the community, witnesses the celebration from the scattering parts across the country.
Shakhari Bazar has been one of those locales, with the background of rich history and tradition. Situated in the centre of traditional old Dhaka, the area organize the festival with passion and elation each year. The festival becomes full of life with the participation of locals along with outsiders as well. For years this place known as Shakhari Bajar has become a centre of attraction for people from outside to witness this traditional celebration.
Although the festival is about greeting and coating one another with paints, the "colors" are merely metaphor. As the title suggests, it’s the celebrations of life. The bright colors symbolize the different various shades of life. Shades such as emotions, auspiciousness, blessing, tranquility, hope and playfulness. In combine this shades made us humane and teach us to live joyfully. Who knows how life would have be without those shades?
