I do not think that I have struggled this much for inspiration in a long time. I think that five out of seven days of ballet has sapped the creativity out of me.
Love Actually is playing on Sky currently and I put it on to see if it would inspire me despite the fact that it is, and always will be, battling with Bridget Jones' Diary for the title of my least favourite film ever made. Honestly, the only three scenes I actually watch it for are the lobster scene (there was more than one lobster present at the birth of Jesus?), the scene with Hugh Grant dancing (if I could vote anybody in for Prime Minister, it would be Hugh Grant - he would do a better job than May, at any rate), and Colin Firth jumping into a lake (what is it with him and lakes anyway? - I mean, he seems to always be jumping into lakes).
It did not help with inspiration, though the soundtrack may be in this pile of CDs somewhere.
Did you know that the Heathrow scenes with the people hugging in the film were real, non-acting people? The film-crew camped out in Heathrow for a week and had to run up to people straight after filming to ask for their permission to use the clips.
Like many other carts here, this pair is from a company that preceded Republic. With that said though, I don't think H&C ever operated anywhere close to Walnut Park...
