Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia (Catalan: Catedral de la Santa Creu i Santa Eulàlia), also known as the Barcelona Cathedral
Salamanca Cathedral (Santa Maria de la Sede), Leon, Spain, 23 April 2008. It is actually two cathedrals, the old and the new. The Old Cathedral was begun in the 12th Century in Romanesque style and completed in the 14th Century in Middle Gothic style. The New Cathedral, which adjoins the old, was began in 1513 in High Gothic style and completed in 1733 in Baroque style; in between construction was in the transitional Plateresque style, which combined High Gothic and Renaissance architectural styles. Pictured is the elevation of 'New' cathedral and the contemporary upper stage of the tower and dome which were built on top of the tower of the 'Old' cathedral tower.
Dunkeld Cathedral was built between the mid-1200s to the late 1400s. The choir, now in use as the parish church, is the earliest part, built in the mid- to late 1200s, and extensively rebuilt in the early 1300s . The original nave is now a shell.
