Paine River is a river located in the Magallanes Region of Chile. The river rises from its source in Dickson Lake and flows east for nine kilometres to Paine Lake. After flowing through the lake, the river runs for 15 km, first southward and then westward to Nordenskjöld Lake, reaching Torres del Paine national park. This part of the river's course includes the Paine Cascade.
These cascades can be found right after the crossing on Kozjak Lake, when you visit the Plitvice National Park from the entrance 2.

Cascade Ponds are a series of ponds that lie under Cascade Mountain in Banff National Park, connected by foot bridges. There are plenty of picnic benches and BBQ fire pits to enjoy a picnic at.
I lucked out that evening with the pretty pink clouds, even only lasted for less than few minutes, as most of the days during our visit were cloudless!
I actually almost missed the pink clouds, the color appeared too fast. I was quite far away from this viewpoint and had to run back like a crazy woman, and extended the tripod in quick motions as I had it all the way down.
Wishing you a great week ahead, always appreciate your visit/comments!

I have been mesmerized by water lately and have been photographing creeks. I love the flow of the water, the reflections, and the constant motion and churning. I took this shot while in Victoria a couple of weeks ago.
Loved this beautiful waterfall in eastern France in the Jura mountains, daytime long exposure using a ND filter. This spot can be crowded but there were no other people there that day I wish everyone a happy Thursday. it's starting to snow heavily here at the moment and the power will predictably be out in a few minutes.

Cascade Mountain rises above the last portion of Bow Falls, which is more like a long cascade for most of it's drop.
The mountain was named in 1858 by James Hector after the waterfall or cascade on the southern flanks of the peak. Cascade Mountain is the highest mountain adjacent to the Banff townsite.
For most of Bow Falls long length it flows more like a gradual cascade until it reaches it's junction with the Spray River where it drops 30 feet. Her song is loud and strong all along it's extensive route. The standard view of the Falls in comments.
Thanks for taking a look!
Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!
