This is the playa in the Mojave Desert just after sunset where I have explored 6 times now with my drone. On this natural canvas there are dozens of instances of geological art hidden from view except when seen from above.
This angle shows brown and orange soils that have washed over the gypsite along the southeastern shore, lending earth tones to the dendritic channels. The playa is about 3 x 6 miles in size.
Got the One4All markers and had to try them out. Used some Posca too

Wow. This project was detailed and involved a lot of holding my breath while pinning and sewing zippers and pockets and straps. I definitely plan on using this bag for trips to the park with my daughter and for travel.
I used canvas instead of leather, and was able to find the zippers and lining material already in my stash. All together it only cost about $8 to make. Not bad at all. I also made the straps longer, as I like to be able to throw bags over my shoulder.

In 'The Expanded Canvas', the boundaries between the traditional canvas and a fully immersive environment are dissolved, transforming the static into the dynamic, the contained into the unbounded. The maze-like corridors, adorned with bold, geometric patterns and cryptic symbols, encourage a deep exploration of spatial relationships and the very essence of abstraction.
At the heart of this installation is the performer, whose body becomes both canvas and brush, blending seamlessly with the environment. Movements are deliberate, primal, and raw. Each movement and crawl, each touch and trace, explores the notion of gesture as both theatre and as emotive marks on skin and wall.
This is a canvas I did just a little while back, and now waiting for a German artist Flying Fortress to finish it. This is a pretty crappy photo of the canvas, this is also an old photo where it is still unfinished. 24x18 strechted canvas.

This is a photo of a new print I ordered. It is the face of Jesus Christ composed with reference to the Shroud of Turin.
I was asked to sell my cross stitched series of Mexican costumes but didn't want to. I decided to see if I could get some canvas prints of them. Turned out marvelous. Shows the fabric texture and the little stitches. Sept. 2021
