I need to get some new candles. I burned right through the bottom of one of the yellow ones tonight ....

er... the same candle

It was great to be there some days before Christmas. I enjoyed it very much! Somehting to speed-down.

Candle in the dark - jason staten

pretty old candle made of a kind of jelly - guess this was not very healthy so it's just burning for the mm-photo today

I was at this dinner party on Saturday evening, and there were these three candles put on the stairway behind the dining table. It was my brothers 40th, a significant event, so I had my camera. The lights were low for the meal, and I spied these candles melting & glowing away behind every one at the table. The way the wax was melting looked so fantastic. Well, I HAD to get a shot!

For Looking Close on... Friday! them : One Single Candle

There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.

I don't usually have Candles burning, but this was taken during a powercut ;o)

What else do you do when there's a power cut?
