I call it "the wrapture of carbon fiber mokume-gane" As you can see I did take the carbon fiber piece back to the workshop and went deeper into it. It turned out even better than I could have imagined!! There are many hours of filling & sanding to get this effect. The carbon fiber looks like mokume-gane to me because of all of the layers and different fabrics used. I grew up 5 minutes away from this old shack. I never once ventured into it however. This old gas can has sat this way for over 30 years.
