Banpresto Japanese Can Can Club coin bank tins that were originally prizes in Japanese arcades. These particular banks are the two different Mercury banks, one of which is a metalic version.

There's a full set of the regular banks and then another set which features the metalic versions of the Sailormoon/Chibi Moon and Mercury banks.
The metalic banks also have metalic lids (where the coin slots are). And these do have removable lids so the banks do not have to be destroyed to access the treasures inside. :D
All banks have Luna & Artemis on the other side.
These banks are a bit dusty from storage but will clean up nicely though also noted that they are about 15 years old now. :)

Photo memories Vietnam holiday 2008
Arrived in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) as start of the tour.
Visited the famous Cho Binh Tay market, The old post office,
some war museums in the city center including a walk around the reunification Palace.
Sidetrip from the city is a daytrip to the Cao Dai Temple and the
Cu Chi Tunnel complex
Next part of the tour is heading south to the Mekong Delta and Can-Tho, including a visit to the floating market.
From the Mekong delta the tour is heading north again, visiting coastal places Phan-Thiet, Nha-Trang and qiu-Nhon.
Hoi-an and Hue are both Unesco World Heritage sites and well worth to visit.
Passing the DMZ-zone, the scenery changes quickly.
The Phong-Nha and Tan-Coc caves are amazing.
Almost at the end of the tour, we bumped into the crazy Hanoi traffic in the old city center.
The citytour included a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum,
the Army museum and best of all ice coffee at 'Highlands Coffee'
Last part included Unesco World Heritage at Halong Bay
Stop-over in Hong-Kong on the way Home !

5 pints of salsa
4 pints pickled peppers
3 qt dill pickles
= long and rewarding canning day
Tomatoes, jalapenos for the salsa and the cucumbers, and dill weed for the pickles are from our garden. The habaneros were from a friend's garden - he had a larger crop than expected and gave us a whole bag full. Pickling was the best way to preserve them... now to figure out how to use these *hot* peppers...
8th procedure Today May 1, 2009
Immediately after procedure. if you blow this up you can see that the lacerations are about 1/8 in; long and almost no width. each wound is so small that they heal individually without scar tissue forming.
My only problem is that I am right handed and I have done this with my left hand. And I have to resist the temptation to remove it all at once.

i just really liked the look of this one, and it just seemed too boring for my foto a day. i've decided to say that tab is my favorite soda, because it's so annoyingly picky.
This picture was taken at one of Joe Flanigan's autograph sessions on August 26, 2012, at Fan Expo Canada.
The sign Joe is leaning on says "No Posed Pictures." My daughter didn't notice it, and she asked for one anyway. I guess kids can get away with that sort of thing.
The WCML is a distant memory for these AL6's laid up at MOD Long Marston.
Left to right are: 86247 (Europhoenix) 86251 and 86229 (both in Virgin)
86247 (ex-E3192) sparkles having been recently refurbished by Europhoenix as a demonstrator. Released from the Vulcan Foundry on 1st December 1965. Currently stored at Crewe Basford Hall as a source of spares. She carried the name Abraham Darby from 1981 to 2003.
86251 (ex E3183) looks decidedly worse for wear. She retains her Virgin livery, now faded from a few years storage. She was named The Birmingham Post from 1980 to 2002.
86229 (ex E3119) was a Doncaster built loco, also looking weather beaten.
She was named Sir John Betjeman from 1983 to 1998, and
Lions Club International from 1998 to 2003. She was always bulled up when I saw her, and seeing her in this condition was really tragic.

Oratório de São José do Monte Royal, (francês - Oratoire Saint-Joseph du Mont-Royal), é uma basÃlica Católica Romana situada na ladeira norte do Monte Royal em Montreal, Canadá.
Em 1904, o Irmão André (Alfred Bessette) começou a construção de uma pequena capela ao lado do monte próximo ao Colégio Notre Dame. Brevemente, ela tornou-se muito pequena. Mesmo com sua ampliação, em 1917, uma igreja foi construÃda, chamada a crÃpta, com uma capacidade para 1000 pessoas sentadas. Em 1924, a construção da basÃlica foi inaugurada; e foi completamente finalizada em 1967. Seu domo, ou cúpula, é o segundo maior desse tipo no mundo, ficando atrás apenas da BasÃlica de São Pedro no Vaticano, Roma, e é a maior igreja de todo o Canadá.
A basÃlica é dedicada a José de Nazaré, a quem o Irmão André creditou todos os seus supostos milagres. Muitos deles eram relacionados a um certo de poder de cura e muitos pelegrinos (paralÃticos, cegos, doentes, etc...) vieram até sua basÃlica, incluindo numerosos Protestantes. Em exposição na basÃlica há uma parede coberta com as imagens daqueles que ele supostamente curou. O Papa João Paulo II reconheceu a autenticidade dos milagres e beatificou Irmão André em 1982.
Uma relÃquia no museu da igreja contém o coração do Irmão André, que ele requisitou como uma proteção para a basÃlica.
Mais de 2 milhões de visitantes e pelegrinos visitam o Oratório todos os anos. Ela está localizada ao número 3800, Queen Mary Road, em Côte-des-Neiges, onde também se encontra uma estação da linha azul do metrô.
Em 19 de Outubro de 2004, o Oratório comemorou seu centenário. Todos os sinos de todas as igrejas na ilha de Montreal deveriam tocar seus sinos à s 9:00 da manhã. Infelizmente, nem todos ouviram o som dos sinos porque nem todas as igrejas participaram. Às 9:05 da manhã, a basÃlica badalou todos os seus sinos em resposta e celebração.

Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal, (French: Oratoire Saint-Joseph du Mont-Royal), is a Roman Catholic basilica on the northern slope of Mount Royal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
In 1904, Blessed André Bessette, CSC, began the construction of a small chapel on the side of the mountain near Notre Dame College. Soon, it became much too small. Even though it was enlarged, in 1917, a church was built, called the crypt, with a seating capacity of 1,000. In 1924, the construction of the basilica was inaugurated; it was finally completed in 1967. The Oratory's dome is the third-largest of its kind in the world after the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace of Yamoussoukro and Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome, and the church is the largest in Canada.
The basilica is dedicated to Saint Joseph, to whom Brother André credited all his reported miracles. These were mostly related to some kind of healing power, and many pilgrims (handicapped, blind, ill, etc.) poured into his Basilica, including numerous Protestants. On display in the basilica is a wall covered with thousands of crutches from those who came to the basilica and were allegedly healed. Pope John Paul II deemed the miracles to be authentic and beatified Brother André in 1982.
A reliquary in the church museum contains Brother André's heart, which he requested as a protection for the basilica. More than 2 million visitors and pilgrims visit the Oratory every year. It is located at 3800, Queen Mary Road, at Côte-des-Neiges (near to Côte-des-Neiges metro station).
On October 19th, 2004, the Oratory held its centennial. All the bells of all the churches on the island of Montreal were supposed to ring at 9:00 a.m., though not all churches participated. At 9:05 a.m., the basilica rang its bell in response and celebration.
