Lighting info: Norman head at 1/2 power in a three-foot square soft box, camera left but in front of the model, and pointed away from the model, back toward camera to "feather" the light. I love this technique, which I learned from Rob Layman, the pro sales guy at Pro Photo Supply in Portland, Oregon. Exact camera settings in the exif detials, but I usually strive for f/8 at 200th of a second and ISO 100.

Among the Camas Lillies and the pink clover were these beauties... they really popped from the background.

It was such a pleasant evening for a photo walk. I went with my mom and Vanessa over to the downtown area of Camas, WA which is not far from my parents house. All the shops were closed, a few passer-bys now and then and the temperature was perfectly warm.
