This is a single image captured from a static camera/lens on a tripod from my front yard. Nothing like some images captured with telescopes mounted on astro-gimbals but at least I got a photo of it. I never did see it with my naked eye and barely saw it with binoculars but there was a very bright moon illuminating the night sky which did not help.

BR class 08 0-6-0 diesel-electric shunter 08843 (built Horwich, 1961) on pilot duties at Crewe station - c.1980.
This former Western Region shunter was transferred to Crewe Diesel (CD) TMD on 22/03/1975 and remained there until withdrawal on 22/09/1990. It was scrapped at MC Metals (Springburn) the following year.
This short section of the former Cockermouth - Workington line which opened in April 1847 yields a couple of interesting structures: A cattle arch accommodation bridge (No:29) and an occupation crossing that conveyed an existing footpath from the Seaton - Camerton road to St. Peter's Church.
The footpath steps are precast concrete and were probably installed in LMS days.
The abutment of Bridge No: 30 (Stainburn Bridge) remains with some ornate stonework. The other side of the river Derwent was where William Pit sidings were located.

White pizza with mozzarella, gorgonzola, fresh pears, walnuts, Speck (smoked prosciutto) and honey.
I'd admired this selection from afar for too long. I finally took the plunge to order it and it was DELICIOUS. At first I thought the glistening on the pizza was oil, but it was light drizzle of honey. This was like a warm cheese plate: a careful balance of sweet, salty, rich, fresh, and crisp, with slight soft goo. Mmmm...
