Lockheed C-121A Constellation 48-0609 (N494TW) taxiing out for a flight demonstration during RIAT 1998.

After her European tour in 1998 she flew on for a couple of years before she was donated to Korean Air Lines and put on static display. Grounded forever.

My first sighting of a US Army Metro. Landing 22.

Re-branded at the show as the Global 7500. No interior in this one. Think they'll always be playing catch up with the competition.

THE RED BARON

Replica completed in 1982 -

For most of its life this aircraft was painted to represent an all red triplane as flown by Manfred von Richthofen, also known as the Red Baron, although it incorrectly wore the serial Fok. Dr I 103/17. In the winter of 2005 the aircraft was given all new fabric and repainted in more authentic colours to represent Fok. Dr I 477/17.

Just got back in from a shoot up in the nations capitol. Our last set up was on this rooftop, which was really beautiful. You could see the Washington Monument, the Capitol building, Nations Cathedral and tons more. This was facing west, I believe, toward Georgetown.

About 10 minutes after setting up, a random cloud of rain came down on us. This was the result. We also shot in the rain for awhile, but covering up my lights with bags and clothing we had laying around wasn't the greatest idea, so we stopped before I ruined another set of lights in the name of photography. More to come of those shots as they are released.

Leave your thoughts!!

This group of 3 Conair Convair 580's and their Birddog had been grounded for the last 2 days when I stopped by at the Penticton Tanker Base. Wildfire smoke brought visibility to dangerous levels so they sat while the fires burned. A group of 3 Quebec CL-415's also sat there. Once skies cleared up a day later they were back in action.
