The biggest button Mushroom I've ever seen. Compare with my hand holding it and the regular ones in the background. My hand is about 4'(10cm) over the basket with the rest of the mushrooms.
My dad took this picture for me, before I had my own light box. The ceramic 'button bucket' was my grandma's as well as the vintage sewing stuff and goldtone thimble/scissor necklace. The buttons on the left are hand cast resin (by me) and the ones on the right are vintage.
While rummaging in my button stash looking for some hoops to make Dorset Buttons, I found this lovely box.
Museum of Design Atlanta (Perkins & Will, 2009-2012). A thoroughgoing re-do of a 1986 office building, now containing the Perkins & Will offices upstairs. Leasable space for the nice, serene, comfortably-scaled museum downstairs was created by eliminating some of the site's parking and turnaround space for cars, one of several green steps taken; read more here by clicking on the "I" button.
Button Bear... made my charlie bears... here he is sitting with his hero's 1/2 scale replica helmet...
Jenson loved meeting Karen's button bear... it was the first time he'd actually seen it for real... -and he now owns one too :)
