I hold a button in my hand...
I'm thinking of the person that wore it on a coat or on a shirt...
I found it on the ground, small and white and round...
I wonder who wore it? where did he go?
A simple thing from long ago...things I will never know.
Hubby came up with the idea for this one. Taken outside just after the sun went and hid behind the clouds until it was too late to give any warmth to the day or capture
Thanks for stopping HMM
Holding a Moon 🌙 and Stars ⭐️ button. I got a card with 2 of these buttons years ago, but I have never found anything suitable to sew them on. Now I can show this unusual button on Flickr! Happy Macro Monday!
My submission for the #MacroMondays group pool with the theme of #Button. Paul Daniels might have liked my magic trick, but not a lot!..
Found this one in my mum's old sewing box.

What a good horse! For those of you who don't know what that is and want to change my title....A push-button ride is very forgiving of mistakes, will do something you are trying to ask even if your riding is very inaccurate, In other words, uncomplicated to ride... the type that most people like. No one gets rid of horses like this as they're priceless. It's just too bad men don't come in that feature :) Ha!
Happy MM to everyone, tell me what you think...
And thank you so much for your comment and favourites in advance.
It’s all much appreciated.

This week i selected this image for the theme #button ! This button belongs to an armani jeans which i own quite a few yeras but never really weared it. Same for your that you own wardrobe which you once bought but later on never really used? By the way...the pinhead of this blue pin is aprox. 2,5 mm in diameter :)

(11/366) I don't own many clothes that have buttons (I usually wear Tshirts & zip up hoodies not blouses) but my one "decent" pair of jeans does have a button. First time I've actually noticed what it looks like, funny how you have stuff around you all the time but don't actually "see" it. HMM!
Shutter release button of a Russian made Zenit-E camera. Over 12 million of these cameras were made between 1967 and 1969. Very simple sturdy design based on the principle "if it isn't there, then it can't go wrong".
Many thanks for all views, fav's - and particularly comments - all are greatly appreciated!
Happy Macro Mondays to you all!
A multi coloured necklace I made from my collection of buttons... not valuable but fun to wear!
HLCoF!
Taken for the Macro Mondays theme of buttons. Sadly this little face desperately needs some dental work but due to Covid hasn't been able to get to the dentist and is now suffering from extreme tooth decay!
……Squared Circle for Macro Mondays theme shot! A button from the button tin - looks like a 60’s relic to me? It is a clear button with black swirls within taken on a neutral background. I liked the four thread holes arranged in a square to replicate the outer square. Have a great week & HMM, Alan:-)

Three heavily weathered buttons found near battlefields of the U.S. Civil War era. The two buttons in the upper portion of the photo are both what remains of brass buttons. On the left is the back of a button which is partially legible. It originally would have read - Scovill MFG Co Waterbury. It is about 18 mm in diameter and was likely from a U.S. (Union) soldier's coat. On the right a heavily corroded button, 16 mm, that probably came from a U.S. (Union) soldier's shirt cuff or trousers.
The Scovill Manufacturing Company began producing buttons for the U.S. military when the War of 1812 interrupted the supply coming from England. Please forgive the long description and HMM everyone!
