Butler Wash is an ephemeral tributary to the San Juan River. It runs South of the Eastern edge the Comb Ridge. There are many erosion caves which were used to build cliff dwellings.
This complex contains several habitations, ceremonial and storage rooms. It was abandoned around 1300.

Hello everyone, my name is Geezer Butler! I am a 1-year-old, neutered male mutt in need of a lifelong, loving home. I am super cute, if I do say so myself. I like to play with toys and with other dogs. I have great big ears and lots of personality. I am friendly and sweet. I'm having a rough time at the shelter and can't wait to get out and into a loving home. Please give me a chance! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $115. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 60 days of free pet insurance and microchip.
I live at the Oakland County Animal Control and Pet Adoption Center at 1700 Brown Rd in Auburn Hills. You can visit me there any time the shelter is open. The shelter will not put me up for adoption because of my appearance, so my only way out of the shelter alive is through a rescue.

Butler's Barracks was the home of Loyalist military officer John Butler (1728–1796), in what was then Newark, Upper Canada; present day Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Butler is most famous for leading an irregular military unit known as Butler's Rangers on the northern frontier during the American Revolutionary War.
The original barracks were constructed in 1778 on the banks of the Niagara River, and were torn down during the construction of Fort George in 1800.
The building currently referred to as Butler's Barracks was constructed in 1818, and the site at one time was quite extensive, being first used by the Indian Department, and later by the British military. It is one of several military sites in the town along the Niagara River:

Another roadside site (after a mile or so of hiking) that was a surprise to us. This one was particularly surprising - we thought we'd see more ruins like Mule Canyon, but instead, we saw some cool cliff dwellings that were built in the 1200s.
Paul Smith of PRS Transit made a record-breaking bid on Brad Thoma’s 86-pound grand champion market goat. Smith paid $13.50 per pound for the animal, beating out the previous all-time high of $13 per pound, set in 2006. Also pictured is Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture Dennis Wolff (left).
