Yesterday, my buds Nathaniel came over and brought his adorable little Sebastian and Yoko Nendoroids with him! I busted out with my L Nendoroid, and then we had a party (much the the dismay and discomfort of the poor Nendoroids). But hey, no hard feelings. And we all had a blast!!! :D

The Butler was the most important servant who ran the household. He was in charge of the silver that was kept in those boxes at back. The shallow lead lined sink was to wash silver in as lead was soft enough not to damage the silver. Cragside was the first house to have lighting run by hydro-electricity. The Butler used the telephone (another innovation) to contact the "Caretaker of Electric Light" in the powerhouse where the hydro-electricity was generated to arrange which rooms were to be lit

Butler's Wharf is on the south bank of the River Thames, just east of Tower Bridge, now housing luxury flats and restaurants. It was orignally a shipping wharf and warehouse complex. Lying between Shad Thames and the Thames Path, it overlooks both the bridge and St Katharine Docks on the other side of the river. Butler's Wharf is also used as a term for the surrounding area.

Arttu, the oldest cat, likes to volunteer as the butler. He checks everything in the dinner table, saying bitter comments of the vegetarian menu. It doesn't help they get minced meat on their plates for xmas.
He wanted us to have fish!
Many years ago when we still ate fish Arttu climbed to the xmas table, sat on one of the chairs and took one slice of the raw marinated pike, and dropped it on the plate before him.
We almost died laughing at his good table manners. He was very hurt when the fish bite was taken to the kitchen and he had to eat it from the cats' bowl.
The butler wanted to eat at the table, too.

One of the county's foremost active landmarks, this grand 4-story structure was built in the late 19th century and is an outstanding example of the Second Empire architecture. The use of imported granite, marble, and plate glass, along with solid black and walnut trimmed doors, was considered grandiose at the time of construction
